Drugs and implants
Quick rules questions about drugs and related implants: Are the costs listed in the section for drugs (pg 317 on) for one dose only? The drug gland implant (pg 304) produces drugs. When you purchase it in character creation do you pay for the drug it makes as well? I presume it makes infinite doses for free- is there a time limit on that (or should there be)? as in one dose produced per day. And how does having the drug produced in your body affect your ability to get hooked on it? can you? And if a character had both the drug gland implant and the toxin filter implant (pg 305) did she/he get scammed (do the drugs affect the character)? I couldn't find the relevant info in the book, but if someone does a page number and citation would be nice. And in lieu of a answer from the book, opinions work. Thanks!

The current cost for the drug implant post-errata is one cost category higher than the drug that it creates. As for toxin filter implants, I would say that they would be tailored to suit any drug glands you might have and designed to ignore it and allow its effects. Also, I would definitely say that you are fully capable of getting hooked on it, and it does make it possible for you to be under its effects 24/7.

Thanks for the quick reply! do you still suffer the side affects of the drug then? And I still don't know if the listed costs for the drugs are for one dose or more.

Of course you feel the side effects! The penalties go hand-in-hand with the benefits; if you are immune to one you are immune to the other, if you are affected by one you are affected by the other. Otherwise yes, the listed cost is for one dose.
