Morph Familiarity - Infomorphs?
I remember one of the devs saying that they would allow someone to take morph familiarity for flexbots. The consequence being that they are familiar with any type of flexbot module or a flexbot built using any combination of flexbots modules. Using that logic, could someone pick infomorphs so they can be familiar with all infomorphs? Could they do the same for morph variants?

I don’t see that you can use the same “logic”
The Morph Familarity trait is describes like this:
Quote:
You are accustomed to one specific type of morph (e.g., bouncers, rusters, agents, or flexbots) and do not need to make Integration Tests when sleeving them. You may take this trait more than once for different morphs.
So every morph needs it’s own familiarity trait. The various infomorph types all have separate entries and are thus different morphs. The rulebook implies that more detailed rules for flexbots are upcoming. As written an integration test is mandated for every module connected or disconnected to a flexbot. Since the Morph Familiarity trait only applies to “sleeving” it is not 100% clear that it will apply for such modifications after sleeving. I would rule that the trait also makes you ignore those rolls, both because a flexbot concept would be hard to play to the full with a roll everytime you modify the body and thus need to take the trait to play the concept to the fullest and that it would be giving incentives for players to make workarounds if you can ignore integration test when sleeving but not modifying.

One of the thoughts I had was
One of the thoughts I had was that maybe make a new trait that affects a group of morphs. Price it as 2 or more cp. Morph familiarity flexbots would be one version. Another version might be infomorphs or arachnoids (I made some additional Arachnoid morphs back in EP 1E).

Making an upgraded Morph Familiarity trait that works for groups of morphs sounds like a good idea. But it needs a little work regarding what «groups» are of suitable size for balance and similar enough to warrant them to be in the same group. «Humanoid Synthmorphs» could be one group. «Combat Biomorphs» (including Olympan, Fury and Ghost) another. I wouldn’t hurt the Flexbot by requiring another trait point for familiarity with it, though. But it is your game.
