Gravity in coronal habitats
Hi. I want to make a session taking place in the coronal habitats, now i am new to EP and this'll be my first time playing so i might ask a lot of questions that jave obvious answers to you. What is the gravity like in the coronal habitats? Is it mostly zero or micro gravity or do they make artificial gravity or maybe the sun's gravity has its effect? . I tried to dig up what i can about cluster habitats and i found that they use tin can modules or ring structures to make some spaces with gravity but i already have a hard time visualizing cluster habitats let alone see how you can implement structures within them to creat spaces with gravity. Any help or info is appreciated.

Tin can modules are basically
Tin can modules are basically big cylinders, if you put a spin on them you create centrifugal force for everything inside. The Closer to the outside you are the higher the force is. Thus mimicking gravity. example would be The Halo rings, Babylon 5, or space station 5 and Aries in 2001 a Space Odyssey. Clusters on the other hand can be any shape size functions, gravity in them would be only possible is all the clusters were designed and assembled in a way to allow for it. The ISS is a perfect example of a cluster hab. Now for a Coronal Hab, assuming a tin can set up it needs more shielding, I would have that be done first with huge solar array on the outside the modulas and then have the fist level inside be water tanks and heat sinks. for clusters...depends on the function...

Spin gravity modeller
If wrapping your head around spin gravity is proving difficult (it certainly was for me), check out https://www.tomlechner.com/outerspace/ It is a brilliant tool for visualising what spin gravity habs would feel like and look like, and how e.g. thrown objects behave. Especially useful for smaller habitats or habs with less than our familiar 1 G, not so much for big O'Neill cylinders (since for the small stuff everyhting pretty much works as it does on Earth).
