Do synthmorths still have the below advantages from in 1e. I didn't see any similar reference in the Gear or Making Characters playtest drafts?
Also, did the developers eliminate the Uncanny Valley negative morph trait?
All synthmorphs have the following advantages:
• Lack of Biological Functions. Synthmorphs need
not be bothered with trivialities like breathing,
eating, defecating, aging, sleeping, or any similar
minor but crucial aspects of biological life.
• Pain Filter. Synthmorphs can filter out their
pain receptors so that they are unhampered by
wounds or physical damage. This allows them
to ignore the –10 modifier from 1 wound (see
Wound Effects, p. 207), but they suffer –30 on
any tactile-based Perception Tests and will not
even notice they have been damaged unless they
succeed in a (modified) Perception Test.
• Immunity to Shock Weapons. Synthmorphs have
no nervous system to disrupt, and their optical
electronics are carefully shielded from interference.
Shock attacks may temporarily disrupt their
wireless radio communications, however, for the
duration of the attack.
• Environmental Durability. Synthmorphs are
built to withstand a wide range of environments,
from dusty Mars to the oceans of Europa to the
vacuum of space. They are unaffected by any but
the most extreme temperatures and atmospheric
pressures. Treat as temperature tolerance (p. 305)
and vacuum sealing (p. 306).
• Toughness. Synthetic shells are made to last—a
fact reflected in their higher Durability and builtin
Armor ratings. Their composition also makes
their physical strikes more damaging: apply a +2
DV modifier on unarmed attacks for human-sized
shells and larger.

We will see when they release
We will see when they release the backer preview. At this point the eidetic memory is a fluff trait. Without an numbers that can be tweaked. So I just assumed it would be still there. If it is harder to obtain it would give the setting less posthumanism potential.

As for the synthmorphs I would guess they will remove the damage bonus.
There is a caveat that actual machines are not vacuum proof by themselves. The joints that work well under 1 atm can weld themselves in vacuum. The environmental survivability of many machines is
much lesser than human bodies. I don't know about Transhuman future but maybe they will reflect that and synths will get a range of disadvantages with their advantages.
But it seems to late for such a major change.

I think the big big
I think the big big disadvantages of synthmorphs has always been social. They are heavily frowned upon if not discriminated against throughout much of transhuman society.
A more minor disadvantage is that asyncs cannot use their abilities when sleeved in a synth.

Cyberbrains can be hacked, which can be a major disadvantage. The backer preview also has various augmentations that are limited by what they can be used in (some are biomorph only, some synthmorph only), but I haven't gone through everything to see if you can pump one morph type up far beyond another.

Cyberbrains can be hacked *by other transhumans* (squishy ones can suffer from TITAN-derived hacking "just" fine...)...
As for the implants, I think they never were exclusive, with adapted versions to the other system being possible unless otherwise specified (just add some disadvantage or bump the cost, etc...)
