I'm going to assume you are asking if medichines protect you with problems that might arise with continuity. If this is not you question, feel free to try to explain your question in more detail. Continuity is the existential crisis one has when they die or are restored from a backup. If medichines are able to prevent death, then yes they were helpful. However, if they die, then no they failed. Being put into medically induced stasis, I'm not sure. I would argue yes, it would cause continuity problems as certain kinds of resleeving methods do cause continuity problems.
