That was a spam bot parroting my post to hide as a "real" user while having illicit links in its signature. I already had those answered ages ago.

Apparently, seekers are once again going to be based on scramjet tech. So how are they supposed to function in a vacuum or an atmosphere that does not have oxygen?
The overall design is very similar to a rocket, so you could just rule that you can also get a version with an integrated oxygen tank. Ideally the designers would mention this too. Edit: A rocket-based combined cycle (RBCC) engine does this already, and is a type of scramjet, so this doesn't need to be considered a house rule. Overall, I'd expect the design to be a traditional rocket, since efficiency isn't that critical, and scramjets are finicky about the pressure and speed (the gauss launch system is needed to get them supersonic).

For the layering armor section, does bio ware count as a layer?
Feel free to run around naked, but bioweave doesn't count as an armor layer. This is because it's a +armor instead of armor. This is explained on page 21 of Actions and Combat. Each extra pair of limbs (over the standard 4) provides you with an additional 1d6 damage (and not an extra attack). This is explained on page 16 of Actions and Combat (under Extra Melee Weapons). There's also a maximum bonus of 3d6 extra damage. Edit: Oops. Didn't realize I wasn't on the last page when I answered these and they had already been answered.

One thing is that they need
One thing is that they need to be hybrid scramjet-rockets to function outside of a thick atmosphere, but what really concerns me is that the coilgun in the launcher needs to accelerate the missile to mach 3, which should result in the kind of recoil that wrecks the gunner's shoulder every time it fires...

I didn't notice that. Yeah, it does appear to be parroting you. Reported.

New version?
So, when's the next A&C update coming? This section of the playtest is well overdue for a revision, especially the new reload mechanic which overcomplicated things and forced all weapons to have these messed up magazine sizes as a result.

Why do you have random links
Why do you have random links embedded in your post?

The spam bots seem to be getting cleverer. Simply copying someone elses post made just enough sense in context that it failed to trip my brain's bot detector. No, you know, a whole lot more clever. Just a neat trick.

They are getting smart about
They are getting smart about scripting. Plus a small slice of smarter spam bots are actually Amazon MTurk services, so actual people making a penny a post that just plaster posts everywhere they're aimed at (though usually those are at yelp or other social or review sites). Or they may be paid to set up the accounts to get past the initial captcha as a human - and then let a script post with it a few weeks later.

Double AP
So snipers are AP, so are railguns. Are rail sniper armor-ignoring?

I would rather assume they do an extra +1D10 DV since the sniper already is AP and thus have the -1D10 DV for AP already factored in. I for one can't see any reason why the sniper rifle should be AP by default. Any good sniper would choose his ammunition carefully according to what target and mission they have. AP isn't good for anti-materiel use and in those cases you want to be absolutely sure the target is dead. Would a sniper loaded with Hollow-Point still be AP? That makes little sense in my opinion.
