So Synths have Pain Filter:
"Pain Filter
Synthmorphs can filter out their pain receptors so that they are unhampered by wounds or physical damage. This allows them to ignore the –10 modifier from 1 wound (see Wound Effects, p. 207), but they suffer –30 on any tactile-based Perception Tests and will not even notice they have been damaged unless they succeed in a (modified) Perception Test."
Does it mean that they can ignore only ONE wound negative effect? So does it mean that the second wound will apply -10 modifier? Why only 1 Wound? I mean, we are talking about robot basically. How does any wound apart from most critical affect it?
It seems strange to me that Syths can only ignore one Wound, while BioMorphs can just buy Adrenaline bio-mod and also ignore 1 pain and Synths can't get Adreanline. So biomorph can ignore same amount of wounds as synth shell- that seems pretty.... stupid?
So a bag of water, soft skin, flesh and muscles can ignore 1 wound from adrenaline mod while fully robotic shell made of steel, with built-in armor, no blood, and way less "critical" areas to disable it etc. can only ignore 1 wound?
Seems like illogical for me. I mean biomorphs, no matter how cutting-edge they are- are still just skin, flesh, muscles, bones and water. We are talking about human body vs robot body- I mean- come on.

Because wound penalties also
Because wound penalties also represent serious physical damage. It doesn't really matter if you feel pain or not, having 3 servos offline impairs movement.
You're also making a lot of assumptions to how synths work which may not be true.

Ok, so it is not "pain"? I thought we are talking about wounds=pain since it called "Pain Fillter". So its just basicelly a damage penalty?
Of course I may be making a lot of assumptions but fact also is= we talk about 80% water based body vs synthethic/metal/carbon fibre/whatever which will always be much, much more sturdy than soft human body, right? That is of course for the sake of discussion, it is mechanic only after all.

Think of it this way. If you
Think of it this way. If you have a sprained ankle, it would be painful to use. Turning off the pain might allow you to use that ankle without (short term) consequence. However, being damaged to the point where you're reduced to limping, turning off pain might help but isn't going to fix your problem.

It's about severity. One wound is basically like a significant cut, where your biggest problem is indeed just the pain (Also, adrenaline works surprisingly well to block pain: I once tripped during a run and basically turned my knee and shoulder into ground beef. Didn't even notice it was anything more than a bruise until the run was over. Plenty of other anecdotal stories out there too). Two wounds is more like you've got heavy bleeding and getting woozy. Three wounds is your knee going the wrong way.
Synths do have more durability, this is true, and it's reflected in generally having a higher durability, and with it a higher wound threshold as well to avoid even getting wounds in the first place. Plus base armor.

The biomorphs are also
The biomorphs are also generally pretty advanced. The splicers are pretty similar to a modern human, but a ghost morph may well have something like carbon fiber reinforcements on their bones (reflected in their aptitude bonus and higher durability).
