Vortex Ring Gun Ammo
What does it cost, if anything? What is the ammo capacity of the gun? Did I miss some Errata?

That weapon appears to be missing some important information. How about an ammo capacity of 20 with 100 rounds costing [Low]. Firing modes SS. I'm not aware of any errata for it.

Modern handheld vortex ring
Modern handheld vortex ring guns (which aren't as dangerous) often use blank cartridges. EP is probably similar, but with a much beefier charge. Cost could be [Trivial] like normal ammo.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. I think if it were my game, I'd do ammo capacity 10.

I was modeling the vortex
I was modeling the vortex ring gun after the torch. It looked like it was the closest match. Effects that can last a turn or more (so SS firing), 20 ammo, slightly exotic ammo so ammo priced at [Low] like other spray weapons.

It probably does, but
It probably does, but hopefully the burning vortex is going fast enough exit the gun before it damages the mechanism. The weapon would require a lot of energy to make a fairly heavy liquid move like that, it might be something of a cannon, and it might not work in atmosphere, but I don't really understand the physics of fluid vortexes to be honest.

as RAW, liquid thermite is a "chemical" and the vortex gun can be loaded with any chemical.
