The description for the Shard Pistol says that its ammunition is often coated with drugs or toxins for extra efficiency. Unfortunately it says nothing about how much costs to drug entire cartridge of shard ammo. In fact, this problem isn't unique for shard weapons.
How should I drug or poison these things?
-Poison Gland. Can produce poison. Does not say how much poison the glands can produce.
-Implanted Nanotoxins. Doesn't say how much nanotoxin it can produce.
-Injectors (Nanoswarms). How much drug does a swarm carry? Does the drug cost extra, or is it covered by the cost of the swarm itself?
-Capsule (Firearms). [Trivial] + Payload cost. Firearms ammo are bought in groups of 100. So does this mean it covers 100 shots?
-Splash (Seeker). [Low] + Payload cost. Seekers are bought in groups of 10. So cost per 10 seekers? What about if I used a standard missile? (Some drugs and poisons cost more than [Moderate]).
-Shard Pistols. 100 units of ammunition. If the cost is per shot, its going to be really expensive.
-Shredders. A larger version of a Shard Pistol for more firepower. I think it has the the same problems for dosing ammo.
-Sprayer. A weaponized super soaker. It sprays chemicals, drugs, and toxins. 20 ammo.
I suppose part of the problem is I don't know how many doses I'm getting when I buy a drug.

With drugs that you use on
With drugs that you use on yourself single dose is a single use.
So if you deliver a single dose with a single shot you have to pay a lot.
I would handwave that, saying that you buy drugs in bulk so it's as cheap to spike a magazine as buy a single dose. Except for the [High]/[Expensive] stuff.

Stinging delivery...
I'd say a single burst should be enough to dose the target in theory. Do ammo the same way as Capsule for regular pistols.
For me... I always wanted to have a wasp knife that injected a nanoswarm directly into the target. Wouldn't that be fun.

Well there is nothing
Well there is nothing stopping you. Wasp knives are by the rules normal knives.
EDIT:
Unless you set them to deliver compressed air-fuel mixture into the body of the victim. Now that's what you can call a gorefest.

Hm, now you've got me thinking about wasp knives loaded with liquid thermite...

Astrolite G would probably be
Astrolite G would probably be more destructive, but doesn't have rules written up in EP.

Yeah, I'd go for something
Yeah, I'd go for something more creative but I admit I'm always curious to see what sort of nastiness I can come up with purely with RAW.

For cheesy RAW stuff, I
For cheesy RAW stuff, I really like Swarmanoid Injectors, as they are able to use chemicals. Thermite injecting robo-wasps is actually one of the few very dangerous melee characters possible

I am definitely using this one at some point. Hm, and if you gave them jaws, you could drop 4d10+7 damage with armor bypass on the first turn, cranking up to 7d10+7 each subsequent turn...

So, tonight a friend and I were brainstorming and came up with the idea of a fleet of servitors with stunners and built-in nanohives that spawn disassembler swarms. Not as immediately brutal as the thermite wasps, but definitely terrifyingly versatile...

Lets just rename this thread:

And seriously. The swarmanoid superthermite or scrapper gel delivery is a great way to destroy heavily armored opponents. Or at least their armor.
7d10 i don't know from where you took this figure.
Wait. I know.
Initial dose burn 2d10 additional dose +3d10 and whatever swarmanoid can chew. but as a GM I would rule that the heat is damaging to the swarmanoid too.

I'm not sure what we've got
I'm not sure what we've got technically qualifies as a "war", so one could say we're innocent of any and all war crimes.
