1) He's got ideas...DANGEROUS ideas. Risky ideas about how things could be better if more people had better education and money. But money has to come from somewhere! You can't just GIVE it to people without them earning it first (or someone in their family earning it somehow and THEN giving it to them) ! 2) Divide and Conquer- split the voter base for any of the more sensible candidates and allow a far less suited candidate to win the election. Said candidate pushes horrible policies backed by a group that values party adherence over sensibility and set back civil progress by a hundred years or more! 3) Unleash a horde of self replicating BernieBots whose standards are so high as to be unachieveable and whose only other option is total annihilation ...wait, that may be Santa Claus from Futurama!
