The one they released had a name that sort of implied others were on the way, but that never seemed to happen. Anyone know what happened to that?

I don't, but I'd certainly like to see more of them...I get a ton of use out of the current one, and I'd happily pay money for more.

Yeah, I'll sadly accept it if there aren't more being made, but if there was some kind of plan for what the other ones would've been, maybe it could spur some fan-creation to create more stats like these?

Good thinking! Perhaps we should start a thread for this purpose in the Homebrew thread.

I am convinced that
I am convinced that successful RPGs tend to have a lot of official support material. Dungeons and Dragons have a great deal of books, many for each generation. The also have had many video games developed over the years. The World of Darkness also have done well, having a few generations of books (some for every major monster type they have chosen to focus on), and a few video games.
I'm not sure who would take 3rd place though.
Eclipse Phase is a major paradigm shift forward, embracing science and technologies that few other RPGs do or do as well. Because of that, the setting can be difficult to grasp and understand, so this game is in greater need of support material to show people how things work. I would prefer official support material over fanstuff, so the material has a better connection to continuity. Unfortunately, the developers are a 3 man team the last I checked, so that might be hoping for too much.
Edit: Some minor editing. Sounds a little better now.

Speaking of Shadowrun. One of the things E.P. Could learn from the early FASA days, more shadowtalk, and possibly do some setting books from a purely in universe document setup.
Adding in the Game information at the end.

I'd really prefer official stuff too. Do the devs not do much talking with the community any more?

easy up guys remember that wizards has a legion in personal and a kings ransom in financial backing. PH+ is very small so they can't turn out content like a puppy mill.

While I totally agree, it is worth pointing out that if this was intended to be part of a series of NPC statblocks, it did come out 5-6 years ago. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask after it given half a decade has passed since the first one was released. It'd be nice to hear about it from the horse's mouth.

The devs seem to read the forums but rarely comment. They might show their faces if they have some announcement to make or if they have some interest in the topic. But for the most part, they are a 3 man team so they can't afford to get that involved in very many topics but still have time to write books.
One of the devs did show about maybe 6 months back and asked some questions about the "right at home" trait. He asked largely because the trait was written back when there was only a few dozen morphs, not over a hundred like we do now. Plus some morph types push resleeving rules to the extreme, such as the case of the flexbots and their expanded rules in Transhuman. Those morphs are supposed be able to combine and change ship, so Transhuman added rules for adding "modules" to a flexbot which would require more resleeving tests. He wanted player feedback to figure out if the trait needed a rewrite and what direction to take it. I don't recall him mentioning what became of it.
