I got a few doubts:
1) Packages System,Customization packages p.37. Rules say that if you want one if these you must switch an Active Skill that you already have into a Knowledge Skill. However in the example p.50 the Active to Knowledge switch does not happen....
What's the correct behaviour?
2) Packages system again. Is it possible to get more than one Background or Faction pack? I think one can do it since rules say "at least one" not just "one". Am I wrong?
3) Lifepath System. If you get to roll For more than one background on Tab.3, i understood that you get the "next path" entry if the last background you roll. What about starting morph? Will you get the one indicated by the last background you roll?

Per question 2, you can
Per question 2, you can definitely have more than one background and faction, you just need to make sure you have minimum 1 so you have at least 1 Moxie, and some rep/networking, both essential for characters.

I'm not an expert on the life
I'm not an expert on the life path or package systems, but I don't think it was supposed to be perfect. It was supposed to make it easy to assemble characters, or randomly generate interesting characters. Doing it in the way described in the core rulebook can be hard. When using the alternate character generation rules in Transhuman, don't feel compelled to follow the rules exactly. Swap out skills if you must. If you get multiple backgrounds, reject one and replace it with something else, or maybe figure out how they fit together. Maybe use them to come up with ideas for characters that are allowed in the core rulebook.
As for weird background information, why not figure how they can fit together? Maybe they were members of one background but changed to another. Maybe they wear one faction as disguise while really serving another. Maybe 2 or more back grounds mesh very well. Was your character born a hyperelite but wound up an infogee because of the fall? How about an AGI that is very bioconservative, being just as afraid of what the TITANs can do as the next person so they opt for biological morphs? How about an Exhuman who is ex-Ultimate, deciding that it takes more than fitness and training to reach the next level? Coming up with an answer to those questions could be fall more interesting than any combination of skills you put on the sheet. The skills on the sheet is what the character does or can do, but it says little about who they are or what their motivations are.
