Running Glory + Ego Hunter
I am starting a new EP group and wanted to run a set mission to get everyone in to the setting. Glory seemed like a cool place to start with lots of the basic game mechanics introduced in a steady stream. I also had the idea of running Ego Hunter as the Firewall team on the outside. I have ideas to link from one mission to the next and ideas about an overarching story line of Growing Mischief in the Universe. I am looking for advice on running Glory. Any big changes you have made or problems encountered while running it? Anything that was too easy to solve or clues you completely missed while playing it? Is there already a forum topic covering this that I have missed? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've only played it once. I
I've only played it once. I was the inside man so to speak since i was also acting back up gm on the rules so i was firewall evaluating potential recruits. definitely felt that was the way the scenario was meant to be played.

I was a player in "Glory"
I was a player in "Glory" awhile back. I'm a physics nerd, and the GM was actually an astrophysics grad student, so a lot of our nitpicks to the scenario were physics-related. a few spoilery details:
Spoiler: Highlight to view
1. you don't need to know location of the Song Cai Flower prior to egocasting to Casa Arturo. Remember stealth is space is difficult, finding space ships is easy. You should be able to, with not-too-high favor, request time on Casa Arturo's thermal imaging. Scan the sky, time frame of like an hour, and with a successful Interfacing, I'd reveal the location and vector of the Flower. 2. Why doesn't the Song Cai Flower do anything when the party approaches it? Canonically, it's because the inhabitants (including the ship's AIs) are crazed exsurgents who can't even be bothered to monitor their own sensors. Thing is, the players don't know this. The scenario seems to think the players should be just fine rocketing right up to the ship. Most players, honestly, probably will be. If you have a physics nerd in your group (like me) who spends too much time on the Internet reading about how difficult stealth in space is, you might run into our problem where the group is *much* much too paranoid about how the party will be spotted by the Flower as the party approaches. 3. I'm sure there was something else I had to add, but I forget.
