Weapon- disruptor sword
How would a weapon equipped with some sort of electrical field generator designed to disrupt electronic systems work? I'm imagining a sword or other melee weapon that could destabilize nanoswarms by touching them and disrupt the systems of synths if it stabbed them, especially in vulnerable areas. I like the idea of this weapon giving birth to new martial arts based on knowing how to stab a machine and what level of charge to use for maximum damage.

Shock weapons fail to affect
Shock weapons fail to affect synths, so I imagine that even the cheapest Case and Spare have their systems sufficiently hardened against electrical disruption/discharge/interference that you'd need to zap them with a tesla coil to do any appreciable damage. And as regards nanoswarms, you're not gonna disrupt them with anything short of letting off an EMP grenade. Which you might as well do frequently when you have any reason to be concerned about free-floating EMP fields. Although, that does beg the question, do EMP bursts disrupt nanite swarms already inside people? Now, mind you, adding shock damage to your sword would be really great if you were fighting biomorphs and felt that fair fights were for chumps.

Hmmm... re-usable EMP grenades...
Step 1: Purchase Bug-Zapper. Step 2: Purchase Broom. Step 3: Attach Bug-Zapper to Broom. Step 4: Wave through the air like some sort of wierd-ass butterfly net. Step 5: [File Not Found] Step 6: Triumph! In any case, a while ago I homebrewed a weapon add-on with cost [Moderate], which let the weapon deal 1d10 damage against swarms. Would that meet your requirements?

The question is, would it
The question is, would it ever be possible to DIRECT an EMP burst towards where you're aiming, rather than simply "everywhere at once"?

Hmm.
Interesting. Iirc, EMPs are transmitted mostly via EM radiation or Magnetic fields, and EP has methods to direct or constrain both; Metamaterials for the former, room-temperature Superconductors for the latter. Additionally, the existence of man-portable particle/plasma weapons, railguns and Surya strongly imply that Transhumanity has developed a solid mastery of magnetics. So, Yes. I would imagine that directed EMPs are a solid possibility, at least in the form of a "shaped charge".

In core manual states that
In core manual states that any magnetic force applied during enought time can destroy any synth in his range like radiation would do with biomorphs. So, If we can create particle cannons and plasma throwers... why can't we create a magnetic weapon for synths?

Well...
...probably because weapons, electromagnets and, more importantly, habitat hulls tend also to be made of metal. A man-portable electromagnet capable of dismantling a synth in any reasonable timeframe would, I'd imagine, rip itself apart in the process.
