Movement speed in combat questions.
If there are participants that have 4 actions, do you divide everyone's movement up by 4 and allow only that much movement per action phase? Do you actually use this sort of tactical movement in your EP games?
Do you round up or down? 4 meters or 20 meters running is easily divided by 4 action phases, but 3 complicates maters a bit.
Does a character with less than 4 actions, take their complex actions during the first action phase, or can they take their actions during any of the action phases?

Well, for one, length is a continuous measure, which means that you simply move 20/3 meters per action phase...
As for your third question, the combat rules say that all characters with a Speed of at least 1 all act on phase 1, then all characters with a Speed of at least 2 all act on phase 2, etc. This means that characters with Speed 1 take their actions during the first action phase - though of course they can chose to hold their action and take it in a latter phase.

I wouldn't say it's more so take your actions as more so declare your actions...
Phases just give those who think faster another chance to respond and laugh

Somebody is using bad science! Snark, facts, snark.
Your body is corrupted: Cool, do more science to it.
Your mind is warped: That's nice, want a cookie?
