Eclipse Phase to One Roll Engine Conversion
Where to begin... Well about two years ago I had a chance to read the Eclipse Phase setting. Loved it more than just about any RPG I have ever played. The rules however were not to my liking. Too much degeneracy. Too many clunky mechanics. I have played a lot of systems over the years but the one that I am most familiar with is probably Greg Stoltze's One Roll Engine. I played that one in it's original Godlike incarnation and in every other incarnation that has come subsequent. It is fast and flexible enough to handle a lot of different situations. So I started writing. And then I wrote some more. Then I continued writing. Then I played it with friends. Wrote even more. Played more. Wrote more. The end result is below. A monstrous conversion that has metastasized from a simple rules patch to a full on project. This is the result of a year or so's worth of effort with a little help from some friends. I split it into three parts each a hefty bag 'o words in its own right. They address core mechanics, items, morphs and weapons and useful adversaries. I tried to make it as readable and friendly to the user is possible. It is still a work in progress (especially filling in those fiddly items) but it is good enough now that I am not ashamed to release it. Special thanks to my friend Ben who made this possible and to the groups that suffered through me rewriting the rules under their feet as we played. Neat
I'm actually quite the fan of ORE (and Mr. Stolze in general). I don't think I'd replace the standard rules in my EP games with this, as I don't have as much of an issue with them as others do, but it could be fun for a one-shot or something. Nice work.

Thanks
Appreciate the compliment. If you are a pure narrativist and the rules don't matter I would suggest reading the Antagonist section as that has more pure musings on NPC functionality and GMing that is more universal than the rest of the stuff.
