Quick Start Rules - Update?
Hi there, it's been a long time since I've tried to run EP and I'm pondering starting again as it's one of my all time favourite settings. I was thinking to ease my players in I might start the route of the Quick Start - but I'm wondering if it's been updated to incorporate the rules change of the 3rd Printing, because from what I can remember there were some significant changes to the "black jack" rules? If anyone could let me know that would be great, thanks!

The QSR has a few tiny things
The QSR has a few tiny things that need to be updated. If you have access to the core book (3rd+ printing/PDF) or the 3rd+ errata document, those changes are easily jottable in the margins. Added to the TODO list.

Not quite the same thing, but
Not quite the same thing, but are there any plans for a players guide? Something that's small, with a cheap hardcover version that GMs can throw at their players and go "Here, just read that!" I know that the CC licence removes a lot of the barrier to players having all the books (which is why I'm buying every single one at somewhat unsettling pace) but some players get overwhelmed when you say "Here are six 200-page sourcebooks. Read them and we can get a game going!" The obvious answer is to get them to just look over the core book, but that one has the "for GMs only" section.

No plans for a player's guide
No plans for a player's guide. There's very little information in the core book that is GM eyes only, and you can trust mature players to not read it. Note that there is A Time of Eclipse ePub, with all the setting information from the core rulebook. And of course, you can fold/spindle/mutilate PDFs of our books and give them to your players.

Transhuman is practically a
Transhuman is practically a player's guide, but a multifaceted one. There is probably a trick to break down it and the core and panopticon as those three have all the essential player stuff. Someone on the forum made a handy 10 point list of EP Need-to-Know's, very basic.
Exhuman, and Humanitarian.
