Firewall Art

We know Firewall is going to be the next sourcebook, and it may be that all the art has already been commissioned for it...but on the off chance it isn't, I'm making this thread because I (and doubtless other EP fans as well) want to suggest a few scenes that scream Firewall (or Oversight or Project Ozma or...well, you get the idea). One image came to mind immediately when I read that part of what Firewall is going to cover is, to quote the blog post, "Firewall's allies, frenemies, rivals, and implacable foes", I imagined a scene where some Firewall router or proxy has a terminal up with an urgent request from some sentinels to nuke a hab where some TITAN tech is getting out of control, but the router or proxy's morph is slumped in the corner of the picture, clearly dead with the back of his neck gorily ripped open and a Project Ozma operative crushing the cortical stack in one hand and with the other hand keying in an "Mission Accomplished" to that proxy's server of fellow proxies, maybe with a floating entoptic/AR screen in front of his face where he's commanding a PO team to secure the TITAN tech. I don't know whether something that visually busy would be a thing the Posthuman Studios peeps'd want to commission, but it popped into my head right away, and I thought it'd be perfect for the chapter on rivals and implacable foes! Just off the top, I also think it'd be awesome to see a femtoswarm in the final stages of eating a sentinel alive as another sentinel on the squad is going visibly insane watching it, maybe while another sentinel is sweating bullets waiting for a nanofabber to ding with "Upgraded Guardian Nanohive Blueprints Accepted...01.08.24 Remaining" on the entoptic display.

I'd love to see a holo-image

I'd love to see a holo-image of a simulspace meeting of important Firewall personages, avatars of transhumans (of homo sapiens, uplift and AGI stock) and Promethean alike, projected out of a supercomputer housing a Promethean. It'd be awesome to see an avatar of the Promethean in mid-laughter, juxtaposed with the cold, dead, static hardware that contains that laughter. Give the GM/player some food for thought, image-wise, about how the private face a Promethean is willing to show only to their most trusted inner circle peeps in Firewall is still not what they [i]are[/i] (cue ominous motif in the campaign soundtrack).

I second the idea of any art that shows off a Promethean (or TITAN!) in some fashion, just because sometimes it's hard to grasp how advanced beings of such a nature would actually represent themselves to mere transhumans (should they ever have the desire to do so). I'd also like art that shows off the different parts of Firewall in some fashion; Sentinels are to be expected, but a meeting between Proxies, Routers doing their thing, or a Cleaner squad gearing up for night at the opera are all things I think would get the mind going. Some splash art of some Firewall Sentinels going toe-to-toe with an OZMA team might be kind rad, too. :)

I'd also love to see art of some morphs we haven't seen in action before! I know we're getting the morph cards at some point thanks to the lovely folks who Kickstarter'd it to that level, but any morph whose first depiction is going to be on those morph cards I would [b]love[/b] to see doing something, [i]anything[/i] (even dying horribly) in the pages of Firewall. On that note: I'd love to see a sentinel in a Savant synthmorph speed-hacking multiple systems at once.

It would be awesome to play up the multi-faction aspect of Firewall. The organization recruits from all across the solar system---hypercorp agents, anarchist agitators, mercenaries, criminals, even, as we've see in Rimward, from the Jovian Republic. The art should clearly depict what they are (a Jovian in a flat, looking battered and bruised but still able to fight, a hypercorp in a slick executive suit and shiny mods with a permanent smile on his/her face, the anarchist having prismatic nano-tats, including one with the anarchist flag with a big ol' pink heart in the middle), and all of them are facing some murderous exsurgent monstrosity. Transhumanity is fractured and divided in more ways than one, and these three characters probably could argue with each other until the sun burns out about their ideologies, but the picture shows that extinction is coming, so united we can [b]fight it[/b]. Like, I imagine something similar to the Jovian Spy, Oversight Auditor, and Scum Enforcer pregen characters all in the same picture.

It would also be really cool to see Firewall sentinels destroying (or being destroyed by) headhunters (I imagine a scene on the border of the TQZ, with Barsoomians in rusters screaming and getting massacred by headhunters swarming out of some bizarre shambling non-Euclidean structure deeper inside the TQZ while a ragtag Firewall team engages in some badassery that's blowin' the little pricks up), hunter-killers (a chance to show some flying morphs in action), warbots (it would be the height of epic to see a sentinel team sleeved in fenrir, xu fu and daitya morphs ruining some warbots), and in particular I'd love to see some TITAN spacecraft going toe to toe with a fighter squadron of sentinels sleeved into space fighter variant rover synthmorphs! Maybe in the main belt? Maybe in the Kuiper belt?

Another art thought: Firewall

Another art thought: Firewall sentinels crashing an out'ster singularity seeker hab filled with cortical stacks, some with rotten chunks of biomass still attached and some with extraneous wires and bits of plating from the synthmorphs that got their stacks popped, all slotted into some kind of massive centralized node atop which stand a cult of seekers jacked into the node, staring imperiously down at the sentinels.
