It's taken me about an hour and forty minutes, but I finished it. I calculated the costs out properly according to Transhuman's morph creation rules - do you really have to eat up four of your maximum 10 permissible moderate modifications for basic biomods/mesh inserts/stack/cyberbrain (if standard for the morph type, such as a pod/synth)? That just seems wrong. They shouldn't count against the limit - though paying for them is understandable. Anyway, here we go. Hold on to your hat.
Sleipnir++ (Pod Biomorph)
Engineered in the span of about of a month by a drunken, demented genetics engineer in the company of neo-ceteceans and Skandinaviska-speaking Scum, copious amounts of hot mead spiked with some mild hallucinogenic compounds and copious amounts of THC, and an unending playlist of viking metal; using as many stock parts as possible to reduce turnaround from conception to launch, the Sleipnir++ looks surprisingly fantastic. The morph was designed when someone unwisely challenged Angela Delaware to invent a “twelve-legged amphibious space unicorn.” She thought that wasn’t going far enough, so she made it a twelve-legged amphibious space centaur unicorn! Fortunately, some inventive engineer had already invented an eight-legged space horse pod morph, presumably for some sort of parade or something on Titan. Engineering it into a centaur wasn’t too challenging, thanks to Pod flexibility; engineering it into a twelve-legged amphibious centaur-Sleipnir-unicorn was a trick, though. Thankfully, thanks to open-source blueprints, making it swim wasn’t a problem, with the use of four Selkie-like limbs, attached at the hinds and horse shoulders make it twelve-legged. The piece de resistance was the horn, packed full of sensors. Naturally, because it was engineered in close proximity to the Scum, the morph is not only hermaphroditic (as is anything engineered by Angela Delaware,) but it features a rather impressive neo-dolphin penis that emerges from the undercarriage, because of course it does. The Aquanaut was the benchmark for underwater performance, and making something with the upper body of a strong, large, buxom nordic woman who tends towards flowing locks of golden hair and the lower body of a draft horse with six legs too many swim like an Aquanaut was not easy. Nevertheless, it was achieved; as with the Aquanaut, the Sleipnir++ retains heat in cold water exceptionally well, it suffers no negative effects from pressure changes, has nictitating membranes and adjusting corneas to counter refraction, and can control its own buoyancy. It can dive as deep as an aquanaut without ill effects. This morph is considered to have fine manipulators.) Non-Human Biochemistry, Unique Look CP Cost: 39 Credit Cost: 39,000 Was that anything like you were expecting, Jack? :) And yes, I was listening to non-stop Viking metal when I wrote that.Challenge accepted. The resurgent humanism of post-Fall transhumanity is probably a lot friendlier than in the recent past to physical relationships for the same cultural reasons that it favors humanoid morphs over 12-legged amphibious space unicorns.* _________ *No. No, I will not. You stat that one up.
