Hey this looks really cool!
Hey this looks really cool! Bug (of sorts): I had a char with a faction bonus to Network: Autonomists, and if I entered values on the active skill that brought me over 80, it just ignores the value entered (no CP cost, not added to skill), but the value remains in the input field. The entered value should be removed or the field highlighted red.

Yep, good idea. If you use your keyboard arrow up and down it must do a 5 unit step.

Great work! Not sure about copyright issues, but are there any plans to add Transhuman? If not, or in the meantime, is it possible to add free Traits, to allow for homebrew Ego and Morph traits, or for those of us who have Transhuman to write in the options?

Hi, Thanks, Transhuman will be added. It will be online by the end of the year or the beginning 2014.

think he is referring to the
think he is referring to the alternate character creation method in transhuman. would be tricky to implement, whole different angle for character creation, need to be able to refund skills that go over max and spend them on something else. probably no harder than what you have already done just another project of significant size.

Well... nop :) . My plan for the character creator is to correct the bug's and put the sources online. I have sped a lot of time developing it and i have other project in mind for 2014.

Dynamic sizing of character sheets
My son made a character with the generator, and ended up buying a ton of implants, so that the on the character sheet it scrolls into the memo portion. Can you make the character sheet so that it can 'grow' if lists are larger then expected? Or provide an alternative sheet template with all that raw information available? Even being able to 'see' all the implants would be better then it just being pretty. Thanks!

Character Creation: CP costs for skills incorrect
First of all, thanks a lot for all your hard work building building the Eclipse Phase Character Generator. I just built my first character, and I think there ist a mistake in the calculation the CP cost for skills purchases. To reproduce this error, create an new character an assign the aptitudes, in my case I assigned 10 to Somatic. Then choose an Morph, I chose Arachnoids, which grants a +10 bonus to Somatic. When switching to Active Skills, it shows a Somatics value of 20, which I think include the bonus from the Morph. Adding additional 40 Skill Points cost 1CP/SP, but after those 20SP additional skill points cost 2CP/SP. To me it looks like the morph bonus is already include into the CP calculation when buying Skill Points. According to EP p.136, Starting Morph: "Note that any aptitude or skill bonuses provided by the morph are applied after all CP are spent. In other words, these bonuses do not affect the costs of buying aptitude and skill points during character generation."

Starting with -135 Rez
One more thing I just found. I just loaded my Character without checking the option "Check if you want to continue on creation mode." When clicking 'check' in creation mode, it was all green with no problems reported. After loading not in creation mode, the character reports a -135 Rez 'debt'. If you're interested, I can send the character file to you.

Suggestion: How about the at
Suggestion: How about the at the start menu have the ability to restrict the source books availible. Core would be forced on by default but transhuman sunward gate crashign ect get tally boxes for availability. Sometimes as a GM you just have to say no to a source book :)

Hi, Thanks you the feedback. :) I have changed the pdf exporter , now if the list is too long it try to print it smaller. It will however not work with VERY long list, so i add a txt export, just in case.

Future goals for the character creator?
I know you guys are early in development but I was wondering are there any plans for making custom morphs as described in Transhuman? Another nice feature would be having control over character creation maximums such as positive and negative traits. Thanks again for your hard work.

Version 1.0 and sources online
Hi, The version 1.0 and sources are online. To iapetus : I wasn't able to reproduce the Creation Points bug you described or the Rez Bug you described, sorry for that, if you have new elements don't hesitate to email me. To ORCACommander and Cognoggin : New feature will not be added. The fact is : the 3 peoples working on the creator are now working on another project and i don't have the will and time for making new features on a near future. Maybe this summer,... but i cannot promise anything. I hope the Creator is useful and a big "THANK YOU" to the people from the Eclipse Phase community for the feedback and the kind messages :) Simplex NB : I stay on put for bug fixing.

Multiples of the same Morph?
My son is making a son of a corporate big shot... wants to buy an extra morph of the same type (same morph + implants, gear separate)... is there a way to add in this feature with the program? Thanks! Also, complete separate... any chance of making a separate program, smaller but similar to make muses and other AIs?
