Thank you for listening.
I bought eclipse phase, inc the hardback, when It came out and reviewed it. I made some comments on the fact that the 'nuclear batteries' were Inadequately explained and suggested they be defined as RTG power sources linked to storage cells. I also on this forum pointed out a couple minor issues, like a torch filling a room In vacuum with a hissing sound and the octomorph having increased cranial capacity. The next print of the rulesbook corrected the sound in vacuum issue and the reff to an octopus having cranial capacity. Gatecrashing did exactly what I suggested with nuclear batteries. Some time ago I voiced the idea that asyncs were too fragile and should get increased resistance to the exsurgent virus rather than increased vulnerability as an offset to their other issues and to reflect their resistance being boosted by surviving an earlier exposure. I also had the Idea for an async (Lost, actually) character having a sort of relationship, at least he believed, with a sentient manifestation of the x virus who claimed to be riding along with him to see If It was necessary to destroy transhumanity or not. (Think a little like head 6 and Baltar) Now both those Issues are addressed in Transhuman. I know other people probably pointed out the things I did and maybe raised some of the same issues I did so I cannot claim the things that appeared in later printings and products were all due to my suggestions and comments, but I have never felt that a game company has actually paid attention to me, maybe, and respecged my views and suggestions as much as the makers of EP have. So whether it was all my ideas or other peoples, I wanted to say I appreciate the people making EP for apparently reading and caring about what the gamers have to say, and even acting on gamer input. It seems every idea or issue I've raised has had an effect in some way on EP, and I really l appreciate that.
