Upgrading armor
So, one of the player in my campaing is remaking his character into a Jovian Engineer and he wants to know if he could buy the augmentations from robots to his armor?

Nope.
Nope. Those armor modifications listed under robotic mods only work for synthetic morphs. Note that the Heavy combat armor for shells requires rebuilding the mobility system of the bot to take the extra weight.

Mea Culpa: My mode of speech can make others feel uninvited to argue or participate. This is the EXACT opposite of what I intend when I post.

if your talking about specific armor augments...
I'd say no, but I wouldent stop a player from making some minor modifications to the armor, or from including some synth traits. The idea of a Jovian Tony Stark sounds pretty damn cool...

He could always use them on
He could always use them on an exoskeleton, offer him a weaker, smaller one if the ones in the book are too bulky. Generally, robots, vehicles and synthmorphs count as one and the same.

I allowed him to get a few
I allowed him to get a few augmentations for his armour, restricting the number in the basis of size. Of course that he was not allowed to pick Heavy armour or anything like that, but he choose weapon mount, reduced radar signature and weapon slide (For the cool hidden blade effect)
