That's lovely. Bear in mind, EP hacking is based off of IRL hacking, which means it can frequently be much more complex, with funny things like bastion hosts, sandboxes, isolated networks, and so on.

I imagine that he is talking about the quick reference sheets that were unlocked during the Transhuman Kickstarter. As far as I know, they haven't been mentioned since Jack (?) asked what kind of things we would be interested in.

I just get really confused...

its a lot to take in for a pretty non-tech guy, same with mesh/panopticon stuff, I also have a player new to the game who seems lost about what his hacker can and cant do.
