My EP inspired photo shoot
Fair warning. This photo isn't nc-17 or anything, but neither is it entirely... work-safe. http://www.flickr.com/photos/maxmakesphotos/8520630322/in/photostream/li... Inspired by the general transhuman badassery of the EP world. It's not any character in particular, but feel free to use it as an avatar or game-aide if it fits!

Very nice. The model almost looks like a pleasure or worker pod in that photograph. I also like the model's hair - artfully messy is hard to pull off. What did you use for the text in the displays? I will admit to a bit of curiosity because I was unable to read them.

Interesting, I was also curious about how to make those AR displays. But, yeah, the picture itself is very good! I get a strong feeling she is so absorbed in reading the biomechanics journal that she doesn't care about having a somewhat uncomfortable pose.

The text is some open source python code I scrounged up and a wiki entry about something appropriately sci-fi, but I don't have the source in front of me... :( The model goes by "Mina" and the barcode will scan as "AUTOMINA"

Drat, I didn't save the tutorial link... but it was mostly this: 1. Use pen tool to make a shape. 2. apply stroke and glow effects to shape 3. change fill to 30% 4. Use more layers to make grid and text and mask them to match the border shape 5. Group it all, select the group and do skew and perspective transforms

Thank you for posting that! I must have spent six hours trying to figure out how you did that, and managed only frustration.

My pleasure! One other thing... blend modes were pretty essential. To make the UI arm image transparent, I actually looked up anatomy images, inverted an ink sketch (public domain image) so it was white lines on black, and changed the blend mode to "Screen" to make the black parts transparent.

Great Shot!
This is amazing :) Very cyber punk, and I think it fits perfect with the Eclipse Phase universe.
Who are we, but slaves to our own personal interests?

Full of sound and fury
Another shot from the cyberpunk shoot. This model actually turned out much more post-apocalypse than cyberpunk or sci-fi but hey, for Eclipse Phase? FUUUURRYYY!
