Book organization
Im running eclipse phase online with a group and the number one problem ive had with the game isnt the rules theyre awesome i just always found that i will make an incorrect call about DV and SV because the book is so poorly organized. Im not saying the game sucks or anything its my favorite its just my memory is horrendous and even if i were to read the entire thing i would forget everything especially in the heat of the moment. For example: the players were fighting a lost generation sadist that is threating to blow up part of locus if one of the players dousn't come with him. They decided to face him in combat and he had a machine gun emplacement at the end of the module so i shoot at them and in the book it says Machine guns can only burst fire of full auto. So i full auto but the book also says that full auto on one guy will give you a +30 to hit or 3 extra damage dice. It never says anything about that in the page for machine gun that it has the potential to deal 3 extra damage dice and i will always goof up. I also have trouble creating adventure hooks since ill only have like 4 set-up and i can never really tell with players that i dont know how they will act. If anyone has tips about keeping track of rules or adventure stuff id love to hear.

On the rules front: There are
On the rules front: There are a few resources you could look up, but a lot of them are outdated, and so aren't really usable with the 3rd Printing. One of the things that the Transhuman kickstarter funded was a set of 6 quick reference sheets that will hopefully really help with that. But we don't have them yet, and I don't know when we will. Until then it really is just a matter of rote memorisation, which is more than possible, I can probably tell you the page reference to any rules questions in the line off the top of my head. If you play the game you will probably just pick that stuff up. Can't help you on the adventure stuff though, I'm terrible at that stuff myself.

Im starting to pick up on
Im starting to pick up on them now but theres always new things and places that i get the players to visit or fight with. The reference sheets sound good though. what i have started doing is slowing the game down a bit and looking up the rules i have the physical copy of the book but even then it can get ridiculous to keep track of some of these things. As for the transhuman guide itself i found that it makes either really retardly under powered or overpowered characters and ive out-right banned the usage of that in my game. And i hate fate system and dont want to use that garbage

I'm honestly curious about that bit. Do you have particular examples? Because I have a fair bit of experience with the EP system, and I have found most of the stuff in Transhuman to be just about on target. The morphs are all about on target for balanced, barring a few traits that they fixed those are mostly fine, and the additional rules for infomorphs are on target for balanced as well. Or do you mean the character creation methods? Because I could understand having an issue with those.

Ya it was the character
Ya it was the character creation. I think its called life path. I once had a dude with only 190 in active skills and 100 in knowledge it has so bad lmao. The infomorphs are fine and the morphs are actually pretty awesome but the creation is bad

That... is mildly impressive.
That... is mildly impressive. In that I can't see how that happened? Do you happen to have a record of what you rolled? Because the way the system works, the end CP values of characters made with the lifepath system should only range from about 900-1100, at least in my experience. 190 in actives and 100 in knowledge is a 3PP package. Characters always end up with ~10PP in packages. I honestly cannot see how you got a character that low.

I think i still have his
I think i still have his sheet i wouldnt know how to send it but im not sure if its exactly that number but it was pretty damn low. I didnt make it myself and i dont know how he made this but it was pretty off target.
