Reading through the background and references to Greek mythology, I've found an interesting premise. With Medusa Shield employing all-female Fury morph soldiers (named after the Greek female personifications of vengence) and, according to the Greeks, the Gorgons were female creatures cursed by Athena, there's a definite Greco-Roman feminist leitmotif flowing through the background of GDS. Could GDS be a matriarchal, gynocentric hypercorp? I think it would be interesting to see if this is followed through in future publications, as most corporation, fictional and real, are traditional male-centered.
