It is called Identifi, and explores the problem spaces of distributed identity (I see no reason why pseudnonymity could not be applied here), authenticated reputation thereof, and direct effects thereof. Definitely EP-like in its look and feel.

does it have teeth?
does this exist outside of the powerpoint? Are they working on any sort of POC? I'd be totally behind something like this, but seeing how hard Diaspora (which was much greater than just a powerpoint proposal) flopped, I'm not getting my hopes up.
There is still Klout, I guess.

It is my understanding that a proof of concept implementation is being written in Java, using the Freenet project's Library plug-in as a base.
Frankly, I do not know if this notion is going anywhere or not either, but if nothing else the presentation might help clarify how reputation networks in Eclipse Phase might work.

It's definitely pretty cool
It's definitely pretty cool to look at, if nothing else. And yeah, it definitely makes the concept of how it'd work in practice easier to see.

Reservation
Personally, I don't like to put my picture out there for facial recognition software. My Facebook picture is just a drawing of me that my wife did for that reason. I certainly wouldn't sign up for any app that let people have a lot of information about me just by taking my picture with their smart phones. However, I would be perfectly cool with having an online reputation that followed me from site to site.

I like it. Might throw that
I like it. Might throw that at people who think anarchism wouldn't work or that rep would just be a popularity contest. You can tell the accountability in such a society would be far bigger, and how you could filter on only certain relations.
I also really like how they aim to get cops ostracized for enforcing unpopular and unjust laws.

Authority figures...
...such as politicians, government functionaries at all levels, and yes, cops should definitely have some light shown on them, and this would be an excellent device to enabling people to do just that.
