For those of you unaware, or reading this thread some time in the future, suspects of the bombing that occurred during the Boston Marathon are currently being chased by police through Boston. The MSM response has been substandard to say the least, with information regularly being out of date by a measure of hours.
Meanwhile, Reddit has been keeping and extremely up to date record of happenings, pulling from resources such as people on the ground, constant monitoring of police radio bands (to the point of the police requesting that their officers take care) and the occasional insider scoop. It is an amazing example of crowd sourced news, and I think an extremely good example of things to come.
This is what I imagine the reaction is in Eclipse Phase after a major disturbance. Imagine what the current Reddit response would be like if we had the level of sousveillance that exists in Eclipse Phase. It is simultaneously awe inspiring and terrifying. I thought that people here may be interested in seeing first hand what that might look at. A truly crowd sourced effort to keep track of live, ongoing events.

Mea Culpa: My mode of speech can make others feel uninvited to argue or participate. This is the EXACT opposite of what I intend when I post.
