Remote Resleeving
Hello all, I am currently working on a scenario idea that involves the technology to remotely resleeve (no ego brideg needed near the target) an individual and was wondering if this might even be possible given the technology as described the books?

Cyberbrains
Cyberbrains don't require an egobridge; they can be remotely accessed by an infomorph who can download themselves into the brain and get it up and running in an action turn; then evacuate when it's time to leave. If the cyberbrain is already occupied, the infomorph can first subvert the Muse probably present in the Mesh Inserts, move into there, and assault the cyberbrain's occupant directly; locking them inside their own mind while using the built-in puppet sock standard issue to cyberbrains in order to hijack the morph. Cyberbrains are standard on Pods and Synths, and can be installed in those squishy meat suits if you want to.

The ego bridge is essentially
The ego bridge is essentially just an extremely specialised nanoswarm delivery device. So I guess it could be possible that some black lab hidden away somewhere could develop the means to have a more free floating version of that nanoswarm available. You could always use the ever popular 'TITANs did it' excuse. Cognite made use of TITAN technology while developing the FUTURA project, and it seems to be the reason we have x60 simulspace, so hypercorps have done it in the past. I would encourage you to make the process an unfavourable one though. Extremely high stress values, negative modifiers on integration, chance of outright morph death. That kind of thing. So not immediately possible with the technology described in the core rulebook, but not completely out of the realm of possibility. As with all Eclipse Phase technology, if it is necessary for the story, include it and explain it with plot.

Those are some good points
Those are some good points there. Because i was considering the idea of simply reprogramming the normal cortical stack nanoswarms but this seems like a much more plausible solution.

In Rimward, they mentioned
In Rimward, they mentioned that it was common practice for many to replace organic brains with cyberbrains. It made resleeving into biomorphs easier and quicker. You might want to consider this as well. ---- Anyways, I have nothing against technology or gear that isn't listed in the core rule books. My current stance is not to say no, but ask why hasn't the gear been developed yet or why no one knows about it. A secret organization that has secret tools and weapons is a good reason why no one has heard of of them yet. Likewise tech that doesn't exactly agree with the laws of physics as we know them is also good answer as to why it hasn't been developed yet. I've been working on special gear myself. I might post them at some later date.

"Wet printing" a brain with
"Wet printing" a brain with an ego bridge requires a gell filled vat if I remember correctly. A nanoswarm that could pull that off without one would be much more advanced. Maybe make it a long process - morph gets infected, nanoswarm compromises mesh inserts and downloads ego, takes control via a puppet sock it builds into the spine (connected to mesh inserts), nanoswarm "wet prints" over brain over a period of 72 hours.
