A friend just pointed me to this paper: WHEN ZOMBIES ATTACK!: MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF AN OUTBREAK OF ZOMBIE INFECTION

Very nice. I think I will actually read that paper (which I have not done yet fully) as it seems to be rather conveniently written and looks like it explains mathematical modeling well too. Let's see.
