Cool but... Am i the only one who watched that and thought; "Retro"? The concept is good and despite occasionally clunky dialog it's an ok story in less than 5 minutes. But the problem with portraying the future in a visual art is the temptation to make it look like the future. "Why, yes. I am Transhuman. Can't you see the flashing lights on my face? Superfluous? P'shaw! If I din't have flashing, exposed bits of machinery poking through my skin how would you grok my upgrades? Hey. Let's you, me, and this hot gynoid unicycle go party in my Tron car." "Cauz, y'know, you havn't really been to the future till you glue glowsticks to your face and fuck a transexual iMac." The whole thing reminded me more of Shadowrun's Future Anachronism more than it reminded me of EP. I give it 4 stars. Would have given it 4.5 if he'd had a pink mohawk.

I agree to a point. As I watched it, I was reminded of EP, but also thought it wasn't exactly like EP. I imagine EP as less cybernetic implants and more biological modifications.

Sight = Mesh

The short film Sight was really cool. I can really see how that reminded you of EP. Gives me a better sense of what it would be like to be able to use the mesh all the time. I can totally see hypercorps researching ways to hack people and rewrite them.
