I was trying to come up with believable skills for a character that was a soccer player. I'm thinking relevant skills would be:
Freerunning (for full defense and outrunning opponents)
Throwing (for scoring/passing - just with head/feet)
Unarmed Combat (for stealing the ball - a "disarm" maneuver, also to prevent ball stealing)
For Goalies:
They probably just use the CO+CO+REF from pg 200. Perhaps they could use Freerunning full defense to dodge "into" the shot rather than away from it (or maybe just provide a +10-30 synergy bonus for their Freerunning to their Attribute test).
Anyway, it seems to me a strong SOM and CO is what would be necessary. REF would help if you're a goalie (and to receive or intercept poor/marginal passes).
I had previously come to the conclusion Fray might be important here, but on second though probably not.
I welcome any and all critiques on my analysis.
