Eclipse Phase Campaign Model
I just finished an Eclipse Phase campaign. Wow, what a doozy. About 9 sessions (more would have beennice but the players weren't too into the system... and not quite that into the setting, and if you're not into the setting, there isn't much for you) so it was a decent length. We had some good times. Unfortunately there were a few flaws. Simply put, I don't know what to do! I had this big "Save my Game" thread a while back, and it succeeded to a degree. It got the players interested for 3.5 more sessions, enough to finish up the campaign. So thanks to all you guys. Meanwhile, I did see a bit of a flaw - support. The sourcebooks are great but I always had trouble implementing them, as did our other Eclipse Phase GM. We've got reams of information and interesting setting details but none of us feel like we can quite make them into a real CAMPAIGN. We only have four adventures (And admittedly one AMAZING one, "Chain Reaction," that's fan-made) to work with, each of which doesn't really lend itself to an ongoing campaign. They provide useful examples, but that's all they are -examples. There are another 3 or 4 on the site (though some of them, like Armstrong's Gold are really just plot threads. Cool though.) I feel like I just can't do the setting justice. What do I write? How do I manage scenes? In short, this is a call for a campaign. What campaign models have you tried? Not just a theme, like mercenaries, but an honest-to-God set of adventures - say, 16 sessions worth for an arbitrary number - that tells a consistent story with a defined beginning, middle, and end. Have you run something like this in Eclipse Phase? What was it? And how much money do I have to give Posthuman Studios to get them to publish one? :P (That's my real goal.)

Do you have a favorite
Do you have a favorite campaign you could adapt? Personally I'm playing around with adapting Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay's Death on the Reik campaign to Eclipse Phase. I realize when I'm done it will only have a vague resemblance.

Really?
"Red Hand of Doom." Heh. That was a great one. The best 3.5 adventure ever written, if you ask me. I guess... I guess I COULD adapt it. I never thought of it. It involves stuff like... city sieges. I guess you could do it with the right thinking.

I also have trouble with
I also have trouble with finding/writing a campaign. Maybe the best idea would be to make a "Spoilers! only for GMs"-thread, and collectively write a campaign, and make a PDF out of it, like The Eye fanzine.

City Siege?
City Siege? More like Habitat Siege with use of memetics. Imagine... A hab besieged by memes! No one can egocast in or out because the channels are full of cats.

That day will enter history books as "Black Caturday"..

Which memes?
Which ones do you see being able to hold back a whole hab population? And BTW, how does one "activate" a new meme he created? I mean on the fluff side?

We are planning on several
We are planning on several sets of linked adventures + relevant source material, each tying in with a previously-released sourcebook. These will be self-contained as a short campaign (3-4 adventures), but with extra hooks to extend it outwards into a longer campaign, of course. These are not under active development yet, but as we work on those, we'll also be releasing several other adventures that we've run at conventions over the past few years.

Great!
Well, thank you so much for the update! I remember hearing a bit about the convention adventures. Thanks - it's great to hear you guys working on that sort of thing! I was also looking at a few other campaigns that might be good adventures; I'm having a certain amount of difficulty when it comes to most fantasy adventures. I think that I enjoyed running adventures from another RPG called "ASHEN STARS" which uses the GUMSHOE ruleset.

Adam How much have you been following RPPRs Eclipse Phase campaign? They have published 16 sessions of solid material and supposedly the the whole thing ran something like 30 sessions all built around one main plot. If I was to buy a campaign that is the one I would want to buy. Just to keep pimping it, the GM has stated somewhere (on the RPPR forum or this one) that he would like to publish it and that he has most of it written up anyway. He's already published some horror material under the name Hebaron Games. So, my humble suggestion is that you contact the author about him publishing that campaign under your banner or under Hebaron games. Just my two cents.

oh yes! you so have to publish Know Evil!
I can't state the epicness of this campaign, because words would fail me (and can only do haaaarm!) It has far reaching consequences while not being a whole game changing metaplot ...as far as we know I would also like to read this story as a novel series, if publishing the adventure itself is no-go but in any case, spread the Know Evil meme, it's too awesome not to!
