Gencon Recordings
I was just wondering, did anyone who attended the Eclipse Phase Gencon talks hosted by the Devs manage to record them? Last year we were lucky enough to get a recording, and it really helped provide insight on how the devs want the gameline to develop. I would love to listen in for more.

What's the next release coming down the pipe?

next few major releases?
I second that :-) If I remember correctly, in last year's Gencon podcast you guys were talking about things like a book on Firewall (which would be awesome). Was there also a plan for things like a players' handbook and Panopticon vol 2? Thanks guys :-)

Coming up next:
Coming up next: * Transhuman, the player's guide, with optional character generation rules, additional morphs, and other player-focused stuff. * Firewall/Threats -- this might be one book covering both, or it might be one book covering Firewall (and similar orgs) and another covering Threats.

Did you talk about the
Did you talk about the Rimward delays at all? I don't want the dirty secrets, just wondering if anything was said about *why* it was delayed so long. And is this the new release schedule, or are you still trying to keep to your early 2011 '3/4 books a year' schedule?

I would greatly prefer to see that as two books. For one the threats book is a GM book purely, while firewall is probably going to have a good chunk of player info. The greater points I see though is that both sides of the book could become the start of a series. As you said the Firewall book could just be the first book in a series of organization books, but I also could see a series of threats books. I urge you not to tack them onto each other. Release the threats as a smaller pdf if you have to. Right now I want to see good information on Firewall.

I can see not a book called
I can see not a book called "Firewall" but "Shadows after the Fall": Ozma, Oversight, Firewall, and other "damage control" and "conspiracy-centered" organizations (titanian, Morningstar, the Ultimate division for Exhuman Threats -UDET, jokingly known as "Odette"-, and the Jovian "Military Secret Service" - MOSES-!) in one book, with some personalities ("known faces" would be more appropiate to this kind of organizations), some set of objectives, some famous past operations, and several future interests/expansion paths! As for the Threats book... Exhuman clans, singularity seeker organizations and dangerous individuals (with some info about how they manage to operate in transhuman space without being deleted permanently), some more TITAN leftovers (and who is messing around with them!), etc... What I'm not really thrilled about is the Transhuman/player's book: right now, I think there are more than enough options for players, and I would prefer a campaign book related to the other two books, where several organizations try to get their hands into a TITAN leftover and things can go really crazy, maybe taking down a whole habitat... or placing the Pandora Gates in "quarantine mode" for a whole month!

I'm afraid I wholeheartedly agree with this. Never been crazy about those min/maxing books... But a campaign/threats/conspiracies books spawning adventures and new background details would be so awesome... Please do that one first ! ;)

Muetdhiver, Xagroth -- I'm guessing both of your are gamemasters, yes? :)

Regarding the Transhuman book

Will this integrate in one book all the morphs from the core book and the supplements? Or just new material? Will there be info on the life as a transhuman (to help players build their and their family backgound) ? (e.g. what was it like to grow up before the fall, after the fall, what are average joe (parents) jobs, etc.)

Rules, adventure ideas and tips for non-Firewall campaigns. I know you guys like Firewall-but focus on this organization as main group for players is(at least from what I have seen) somewhat criticized. How to play Argonauts. How to play Jovian intelligence agents. How to play as Oversight agents. Bonus points if some extra detail for example on Markov are in. I would like Project Ozma detailed and how to play them-but I think this would fit better in Threats book as separate section(with history, secrets-perhaps they indeed knew of aliens before the Fall, dangerous Titan and xeno artifacts in possession).

For the player's guide I wouldn't want to see too much space wasted on morphs and gear that are already detailed in other supplements, but a quick index of all gear and morphs and what book to find them in might be useful. Gear "packages" might speed up character gen, also. Like an infiltration kit with a COT and camo cloak etc., or an investigation kit with smart dust and chem sniffers and the like. :) I know a few people have voiced a desire for more sample Knowledge skills like the ones in Gatecrashing and Panopticon. I personally wouldn't mind a little more "crunch" for existing skills, even just a table of modifiers (like the combat modifiers table) for skills like palming, infiltration, and perception. For the "Threats" book, a beastiary of exsurgents and viral strains would be awesome! Also, since the player's are getting love now, I hope the GMs get a guide down the line (besides just threats) with detailed maps and plans of habitats!

Chargen!
I know you've (sorta) just mentioned it, but I really would love to see faster character generation. I love the detail you can pour into your character, but as I mentioned in another thread, it's quite the obstacle to getting new players into the game. A system where you can buy certain packages in bulk but still fiddle with nuance would make me really happy. And yeah, I would love for a nice big list of knowledge skills, because as they were new to the setting my players just had no idea what they could pick at all. I helped out, of course, but there's no substitute for player creativity when they have something in front of them giving them a better handle on the universe. Mostly, though, I just want a really good campaign.

X-threats book: *TITANS-their creations, machines, abandoned facilities, exsurgents, unknown and bizarre devices(think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roadside_Picnic) *Xeno-threats-left-over alien ruins/spaceships/artificial habitats that are a danger to post-humanity, viruses or organisms that are existence threat(not even intentionally, think Blindsight or Starfish by Peter Watts), weapons left after confrontation with exsurgents by other civilizations, maybe some left individual alien entities that are powerful enough to threaten post-human existence(or maybe have knowledge that it would threaten post-humanity) *Ex-humans-their factions, goals, various types, infiltration of post-human society, their bases both in Sol System, and on exo-planets *Project Ozma- secrets, background, rumors, equipment, how to play a campaign with them.

Among other things, it sounds like Transhuman would be a great place to see the 'everyday life' information that so many of us here are eager to get. Info on non-Firewall characters, family life (children, morph/cross-morph fertility, etc.), and all the other normal day-to-day things that help in building a character that's well integrated into the setting, and the kind of setting material that allows the GM to really demonstrate the horror of EP by putting it in stark contrast with the normal. I'm hoping the Firewall/Threats will end up split into two books, personally. Threats in particular should be a full-sized book -- Exhumans, the TITANs, TITAN tech/creatures, the Exsurgent virus, fringe groups, hypercorp plans that have the potential to get out of control with very harsh consequences, more threats from Xenoplanets, possibly even some threat options for the Factors. Lots of good potential material there.
