Pre- and Post-Fall
Pre- and Post-Fall sousveillance afficionados would have a ball fabbing and deploying these. Hackerspaces would no doubt have developed their own variants to act as extra hands in the shop, as well as helping to clean up afterward. They would also make ideal micro-drones for spacecraft and habitats if they were designed to patrol the insides and outsides of the hull monitoring for leaks, damage, and wear.
