Rimward Errata Thread
And with the discussion thread, we also get an errata thread. It is a truth in RPG publishing that there are always going to be mistakes that sneak past proofreaders. If you happen to find one, and no one has posted about it yet, here is the place to put it. Lets help make Rimward the very best book it can be.

I fixed this, and uploaded a new version of the PDF, yesterday. Hilarious that the editor's note -- which I wrote -- refers to a sidebar that was cut completely in the end. (It ended up showing up due to some complicated layer merging stuff that I do late in the PDF production...)

The writeup for the Ego
The writeup for the Ego Sharing modification is rather confusing. On the Fenris morph, it is explicitly stated that you need to buy more Ego Sharing modifications to increase the number of egos in the morph. In the Ego Sharing modification section, it's implied that only one Ego Sharing enhancement is needed, and you simply need to add more cyberbrains. This needs clarification, as each has a dramatically differing price.

Also the Fenrir, while having space for 2 egos, only list 1 cyberbrain...

miss-spelling in "Into the White"
In the short story, "Into the White", the graffiti "Paska kaupunni" has a spelling mistake. The word is written "kaupunki". While juvenile taggers have a distinct tendency towards illiteracy, I wouldn't expect a highly educated professional to make such mistakes. Unless it was intentional, in slang / dialect, or the scribbler was someone else. Also, IMO a better translation of "Oulu: paska kaupunki" to english would be "Oulu: shitty town/city".

I use Adobe Reader 8... but I retry and it works now. I still not sure why that problem happened a little ago, but it might be my problem. I'm sorry for all the fuss.

Rimward Errata
Pg 101: "Valikko served as carbon mining engineer on a team of four" ... "Two of the four victims" There is one too many victims. Pg 161 "Several members of Blue Rose are also prominent chrome advocates" What is "chrome", or should it be "CRAM"? Pg 182 refers to the use of QE comms for egocasting and gives the page number from the core book. I think we need to know how how many qubits are required for an ego, probably using qubit reservoirs as the unit. Do the COG score requirements for Bright only allow the raw scores or are the morph and implant bonuses included? What about the skill scores required for Ultimate ranks, do those include bonuses?

Looking at the ship travel
Looking at the ship travel time table, and according to the chart mars is closer to mercury than earth, which I believe is in error. As an interesting aside, Average Speed appears to vary between 326,503 kilometers per hour and 730,794 kilometers per hour.

RE Travel times, I don't see the Mercury problem but, Earth is closer to the Belt and Jupiter than Mars, which isn't right. I wonder it is because of how they averaged.

It is possible to Mars to closer to Mercury than Earth depending on where in their orbits they are currently located. Similairly it is possible for the distance Earth-Jupiter to be shorter than Mars-Jupiter. The problem with writing down travel times between planets is that they tend to keep changing their relative positions.

Oh, that's hilarious! The table of contents are generated automatically and then touched up for legibility/clarity ... and I chopped off the " (30–55 AU)" from that header, and also the t. (Editing the TOCs is always an interesting process, because if you edit them TOO much, sometimes InDesign loses the ability to turn them into hyperlinks, and you need to... start over.)

If we're on the subject...
I know this is a minor issue, but I noticed Rimward maintained a general theme where speeds are written as kph, and context suggests this is a shortening of Kilometers per Hour. The norm for this phrase to be shortened to Km/h.
