errata'd new printings?
I'm about to take the plunge and get all the supplements currently available in print for EP. However, I was just wondering if they were on a second+ printing with errata included (if/where needed) yet and how to find out easily which printing they were on. many thanks

The core book is on its 3rd
The core book is on its 3rd printing, while Sunward is on its 2nd (though I don't know if that has been printed, or only exists in digital form). The easiest way to know is to head to the resources section of the website and check on the Errata. You'll usually see a reference to which printing the current updates will be in.

There is no second printing of Sunward. We updated the PDF to include some errata but are still working on the first print run.

All of the books, including
All of the books, including the adventures, have a credits section. It should mention its version there (you may have to look for it though). For instance, the core rule book say "Third Printing (first corrected printing)", Panopticon says "First Printing", and Sunward says "Version 1.1".

thanks for all the replies,
thanks for all the replies, that sorts things out. Still going to wait until I can get to a FLGS (miles away) as sadly I've ordered 3 books of the third printing of the core and not one of them wasn't warped or falling apart :'(

Some people have had issues
Some people have had issues with the 3rd printing, but it's not numbers that appear to be consistent. Maybe one batch or something got screwed up. A few people think the pages might be too thick for a book that size, but I've never heard of page weight affecting library binding unless the job was rushed or the machine that does it not calibrated right. I have a 1st printing still, but have had to return a 3rd printing for binding issues. The 1st printing is skinnier and easier to handle, and the errata (and updated PDF) is free, if you want to save money with a 1st or second printing. Just remember the changes, most of which are really easy.* The biggest changes were to burst/auto-fire and the roll-as-high-without-going-over change to non-opposed success tests (which is just more intuitive in my mind). The content, except for the errata and some art, is the same. So, if you found an older one, I'd buy it (as long as it saves money) and then put the extra money towards the newer supplements, which I would assume have a slightly higher margin for them anyway. * (in particular the pre-errata broken as all heck sniper rifle, though I know a few groups who use the older version of the Plasma Rifle with the new as an 'older, safer' model, or the old Agonizer as the illegal as balls model.)
