Transitions from other games
What are some things from other games people like and how would you go about incorporating these into the current Eclipse Phase system. I would like to see something like the Adept ability from Shadowrun be applied to Psi active characters. However, I have yet to really think up sleights that would emulate stuff like Magic Armor, or more fluently/effectively emulate Combat Sense and other abilities. Any thoughts?

Physical shields and armor are more fitting for epsilon level slights, in my book. However, combat awareness we already have the beginnings for in Ambiance Sense and Predictive Boost at the chi-level, and Omni-Awareness at the gamma. It would take some custom slights to do properly, but I see no reason you shouldn't be able to gain extremely high situational awareness and boosted reaction speed via slights.

I once incorporated the Engel mechas from Cthulhutech. Then i made an adventure out of it and ran it for my group. It was pretty boring. I'd love to incorporate a Garou though (Werewolf the apocalypse).

I incorporated zombies into a game as a strain of the exsurgent virus. My players are fans of zombie flicks, so I thought they'd get a kick out of it. But then I decided to kick things up to 11 and make them shit their pants by making these zombies completely immune to death. Individual limbs would keep coming at you, and brain shots did nothing to them. Liquifying them was even potentially worthless, as individual cells in the organism could operate as an autonomous organism. Total utter incineration and annihilation was necessary. Fun times had by all (who survived).

I've mentioned it elsewhere, but I like that "hacking on the fly" in SR can be accomplished during combat fairly easily, and that black ic can cause actual physical damage to a hacker. The combat hacking issue has been addressed in several threads (I'm currently a fan of the "crit grants instant access" houserule), but I suppose it would be easy enough to incorporate black ic by letting scorchers run on a meat brain... with a few minor tweaks. I also sort of miss having more differentiation between classes of firearms. When a sniper rifle is capable of full auto fire it kinda takes some of the fun out of having a machine gun. This would be easy to houserule also. :)

AFAIK they changed the sniper's firing modes in the later printings.

Whoops, you're right, bad example! BUT every OTHER gun can fire in BF/FA modes, and all but the machine gun fire in SA also. So I still say they could use a little bit of differentiation besides ammo capacity and damage.

Perhaps you could use more Archaic firearms in your games, then. Could use the excuse that they can be fabbed by a generic fabber, along with the ammo, due to not needing as tight of tolerances/no electronics/minimal electronics. It would certainly be a interesting thing to give a gunslinger, a revolver that nobody else can use for fear of it flipping out of their hands due to actually having recoil in the first place. (Though, you'd probably have to give a penalty to hitting due to recoil, maybe.)

More freeform games like Diaspora, Dresden Files or Feng Shui have shown me how important and sometimes desirable abstraction is. For weapons, I have only ever offered brand-name models, with names often stolen from real-life or other fictional guns. Every gun is somewhat customized with a little blurb about its features and what ammo types it can use. It's a little more time consuming but my players aren't gun nuts to begin with so it's easy and everyone loves it. It definitely creates more of a classic gear-based vibe found in other RPGs.
