Eclipse Phase at PAX East: Update -- Saturday times!

PAX EastUpdate! Games on Saturday, 4/7 will be offered at 10 am and 6 pm! Please note that I will not be offering the 'Zeeland' mashup scenario mentioned previously -- problems getting the math to work right with EP combat.

I've arranged to run games with the Games on Demand group. Games on Demand matches GMs with players who want to play a game out of the repertoire the GM is offering. So, there isn't a fixed schedule. Show up on an even hour (with or without a group), ask for me as a GM, and you'll have a choice of the following four events (all a frantic two hours long!):

Eclipse Phase variant: THE JUSTIFIERS®

An Eclipse Phase variant game where splatterpunk superheroes try to fight evil when they're not on drugs or suffering from various personality disorders. A superhero RPG for people who kind of hate superheroes.

Eclipse Phase: Go Back in Time&Kill Hitler

Does just what it says on the tin. An anarchist research team discovers time travel. Throwing caution to the wind, they've set their sights on Adolf Hitler, the Mt. Everest of time travel assassination targets.

Eclipse Phase: Tierra y Libertad

The anarchist Black Army has been fighting the Planetary Consortium for control of Mars for months now -- and they've begun to lose. The domed city of Noctis-Qianjiao has become the anarchists' Stalingrad -- and now, monsters are stalking them in the night.

Times that I will be at Games on Demand will be announced here&on the EP social media feeds prior to PAX opening. Hope to see some of you there!

Also, I'm on two panels this year. "The Campaign Doctors," from 12:30 - 1:30 on Saturday will involve myself & several other RPG writers troubleshooting people's home campaigns in front of a live audience. I'm also on a steampunk worldbuilding panel from 2:30-3:30 on Saturday. (My protestations that as a writer on EP, I have no business talking about steampunk, fell on deaf ears). If you can make it to either of those events, come say hello. I love chatting with you guys!

Re: Eclipse Phase at PAX East... maybe
Well, I don't think you should fear for participants. I would love to play a game, and at least one of the three people I'm going with is a big fan. So I look forward to some good news. Also, when I went to PAX a few years ago there were several rooms set aside from boardgame freeplay that my friends and I used frequently because they were chronically underpopulated. But I don't know if that's frowned upon by the people running PAX to organize something else to run there. In any case, best of luck finding some space!

Do you have any idea how much I would pay for these adventures? The answer is a 'moderate sum' but I'd love to even see your NOTES to be honest... especially the 'kill hitler' one. :P

My Husband and I have not been in the area long, and are interested in finding people for an Eclipse Phase game. We have been playing for about 1.5 years, and one of us would be willing to GM. What kind of turn out have you gotten from this post? Have you used other means of finding people game with?
