I'll soon get TV in my head
I was trying to explain my 3 year old son what data was. He'd asked me what a USB-stick was, so I was trying to tell him how the cartoons on the HDD recorder and apps on the iPad were stored. He was clearly unimpressed and told me: "That's silly Dad. I'll soon get TV in my head!" Not even 3.5 years old and within minutes of hearing about data he's extrapolating to brain-machine interfaces. Quite the transhumanist, eh? :D

First kids were good with computers, now they are becoming good with transhuman philosophy. (insert silly smiley). It might be a good idea to explain to your young one that he should want to do things other than just watch TV in his head, like using a computer in his head to solve world problems. ---- By the way, you double posted. I noticed a while back that the individual pages for this forums posts includes the title name, so I was wondering what would happen if 2 posts shared the same name. I was worried that the forums would crash or something, but it seems that the forums added a "-0" to the end of the web address. Maybe a triple post would add "-1" to end.

Remembering when my brother got his first cell phone, 10-15 years ago, i think it will be more like a parental sh*tstorm :D But tell your boy that he is awesome and should stay awesome.
