Eclipse Phase Book Binding

Hello everybody! I hope I'm posting this question in the right forum. After learning about Eclipse Phase from the internet I decided to obtain the hardback manual, since in my country (Italy) it's pretty difficult to find new rulebooks I had to order it from abroad (England). After receiving the new book I quickly started to read it and I found out a problem with my copy: pages from 65 to 96 are misplaced in the manual, the whole sheaf of pages has been inserted between page 128 and 129, right in the middle of Character Creation splash page. Since I don’t know if this is a problem with a whole batch of Eclipse Phase manuals or if it’s just an unlucky copy of the manual I wanted to ask if anyone else has encountered this problem, since I live in Italy and the shop where I bought the book is abroad I wanted to make sure what the situation is. I thank everybody in advance for their time in reading this message

Thanks for all those who posted here. I was worried that such a problem might be occurring in a batch of prints, the store has already contacted me telling me that they will order another copy for me, I was only afraid that it was a recurring problem and not an unlucky fluke. Thanks again!

This is the first problem of the sort I've heard of with an EP book, though I've run across it with other book printings. It's a printer binding error, and thankfully usually an isolated one. Misprints like this should almost always be returnable for a replacement copy, if not from your local store than you can try contacting Catalyst directly. Sorry you had the bad luck of the draw, but I'm glad to hear your FLGS is already taking care of it.

The whole issue with the wrong binding has been resolved, the store where I bought the book has already shipped a replacement copy for me after checking the pages were correct! I'd say that it was just a bit of bad luck in finding that copy, but everything has been settled so I'm just itching to finish reading the game and setting up a group to play with it. Thanks again!
