Very nice. Guess why the fall refugee background has edited memories?

First of all, we at Life unlimited are very proud at our philanthropic work which allows continuing existence of millions of our users. After long legal battle we have won the privilege to offer immortality for our esteemed customers and we even offer generous package for our less fortunate users. Personally, I really don't see why are people offended by our noble-minded offer. We are, after all, paying for their expenses (believe me, cost of those server maintenance is pretty steep) at the cost of minor inconvenience for the user. In case you don't have any property or liquid funds we will gladly offer you the opportunity to ask your close family, friends of any organisation willing to pay for your continuing existence. Even if this fails we can give you the opportunity to work in our cleaning drones to make the world a brighter and cleaner place or if you have better skill set you can work in our customer service department where we value exactness, politeness, speed, general competitiveness and off course happiness with given assignment. These are just some of our many offers in our assortment, so remember: with Life unlimited you can spend eternity like this! Thank you for choosing Life.
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish.

Re: Welcome to Life
Oh wow. After watching that the first time, I wondered if there was a back or undo button. Watching it a second time, I can confidently say no there was no back button. Thats gotta be the single most trouble some feature. Clearly some devil doesn't want to give back souls. That, and how they were changing your mental state before you came to your first agreement with your provider. I might be being paranoid here, but did they only force you to calm down? Did they include something that would make you more agreeable with their terms? Later in the program, they removed all patterns that allowed criminal activity, then they asked you to delete copyright material from your memories. The whole experience seems to be an illusion of you having free will. They make some changes, then offer you decisions whose outcomes might be different because of the changes. Remind me not to die...

You don't have free will to begin with anyway. Having someone else forcibly change your preferences is still highly offensive of course.
