Hi everyone!
I'm going to run EGO HUNTER soon for a group of friends, and for the interest of role playing, I'm going to give them all Achjima forks character sheets, but I'd like them to personalize them a bit to emphasize playing styles and also so they familiarize with character creation.
I've noticed that the Achjima forks don't use the full-point creation of an starting character (which makes sense), so I'd like to give them enough points to get them to that level... and I was wondering if anybody had calculated this already.

I have a small "trick" when I create new characters: I limit their skill expenses to 1 creation point per skill point (so unless they are AGIs, they have a top of 60 in all skills). This, incidentally, makes extremely powerful beta forks (since beta forks are limited to a max or 60% in skills) that are also easy to calculate (55% in all skills they have, since a beta fork suffers a -5 to all attributes).
So you can simply create a character from scratch buying the same skills as the fork. However, take into account that froks from that adventure have different skillsets because they have suffered psychosurgery modifications, so there might not be a way to make them from scratch.
I suggest you show your players a character creation process when they start the campaign instead, and run Ego Hunter as it is. It will allow them to have the character they want, and all of you to test the game without too much effort.
Also, remember you can alter the adventure a little so the players can be Firewall agents instead of forks of the same guy.

I thank you for the response, but I think you don't get what I mean...
What I mean is that usually a character has 105 apt points, 400 skills, etc... at character creation, an Achjima fork has less than those points spent, like, 70 in aptitudes, and 300 in skills.
I want to give my players the points they are "missing" from a standard beginning of the game character, so they can customize them a bit and be on equal footing to a "fresh" new char, and I'm wondering if somebody has already calculated the missing points...
