If I had an EP style Muse...

I would get it to filter out all the crap from Facebook that takes me 20 minutes a day to "hide" or "unsubscribe".. Seriously annoys me. In my mind that had a lot more swear words. What would you do with your Muse? Play chess?

I'd use it to store all the books and articles I wanted instant access to, be they resources for class, for work, or just for entertainment. Particularly for work/class, also to provide me summaries of said articles when needed as well. Also as an editor on papers I'm writing for grad school.

As above, having a Muse living in my head acting as an editor would be so incredibly useful. While I have plenty of ideas that I can describe to someone with some ease, I have extreme difficulty putting those ideas into written word. Being able to dictate to my Muse, and have the resulting output look clean and professional, would be amazing for me.

That last bit would justify having another voice living in my head with me. Too many random thoughts during the day I don't have time or discipline enough to jot down, keep and organize. I have too many notebooks and whatzits everywhere. I would call my muse Momma. Nah, that'd be weird.

Scan the top 100 news feeds (instead of just the top 20) for articles that fit my general set and hierarchy of criteria in a few dozen fields, and assemble a precis of the top two or three in each to read personally. Monitor the social networks I never have time to pay attention to, and tell me the highlights of what is going on with people I know. Also, take my (infrequent) blog posts and repost them to said socnets so people will not e-mail me asking if I am still alive. Look for anomalies in the firewall logs while I read the system log aggregator. Scan the half-dozen or so assassination markets on various darknets to determine who is ticked off at whom. Also, to make sure that I did not wind up on any of them. Scan my e-mail queues for messages from certain people to see if anyone is trying to get in touch with me; by cross-referencing messages against my public keyring, my muse would also rank those messages by urgency (encrypted? jump on it.)
