Hi,
Does anyone now if the EP corebook Amazon now stocks is the third printing ? The book had been out of stock for some time so I'd guess it is, but the book's ISBN and picture on their page are still those of the Catalyst version...
Thanks.

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
I would like to ask the same question :)
I am planning to have EP campaign this autumn and for this I want to get one additional core book for DM use only. Amazon guys are known for super-slow update of their product pages and inventory. I hope Adam can give some light if Amazon.com will ship us 3rd printing if it is ordered those days.

Ordering from this link will get you the new printing: http://tinyurl.com/epamazon
For the time being, we have managed to preserve the current listing. It may change in the future; we shall let you know if it does :)

Thanks Adam. Is is safe to assume that Amazon still has stock of the 2nd printing...?

As usual, that information will arrive when the time is right, regardless of who asks for it early. ;)

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
I have a similar question so probably will be better to use this topic.
Indie Press only sells third printing or previous printings too? I want to order the Panopticon, and if I´m sure that they sell the third printing I´ll buy it too mostly to save shipping cost(not being from USA has some disavantages hehehe)
thanks alot on advance!

The first or second printing has never ever been in the IPR warehouse. They only have the third printing. Order away!

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
thanks alot for the fast reply! and...bought!
Again I´ll take advantage of this post asking a question for the when you release the next book; I´m form Spain; and no one directly distriube your books here; my question is; if I speak with a library owner, he can order the book directly from you? I dont mean to pay(and probably wait hehehe) a little more if my money goes directly for you.

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
Just busted out my Amazon card from my birthday.
Congratulations, you sold me the first core rulebook I've bought in 6 years. For any game.

Well I used the link provided above and got a first edition book. I dont need two so I guess I'll have to look at the return policy.

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
I've had good experiences with Amazon when it comes to returns but if you ordered it from a 3rd party in the marketplace you might be screwed. The core book has been sold out on amazon for a couple weeks now so that might be what happened. I had horrible luck with the 3rd party I dealt with when buying a Rogue Trader supplement (the hardcover book was bent almost in half and by the time it got to my house it was past the 4 day return period that company offered) so hopefully it goes better for you.

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
Ok so looking to pick up a second copy of core. After reading this post I was wondering is there a real concern or Amazon stocking only 3rd printing?
Link shows no books available except from other sellers. Theres another listing still showing as first printing?

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
Amazon will only have 3rd printing copies. Can't vouch for what third-party sellers may be offering. It looks like they did some re-arranging of the sales page though, and [url=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0984583505?ie=UTF8&tag=talabo-20&linkCo... link[/url] is the correct one.

Just got my 3rd printing from Amazon, thanks for the confirmation on link Adam.
I think this is only the second time I've picked up a second core book for a game. Its a testament to the quality and the content of Eclipse Phase.

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
Thanks, I was going to order it from Indie Press... but they want to charge me with 47$ of mail expenses! (And I explicitely said I was in no hurry at all). I don't know how much the EP Core book weights, but I payed less than 5$ for the Saganami Island Tactical Simulator a few years ago... 45$ game, 47$ mail... hell no! >.<
Let's try Amazon.

Re: Noob question : Third printing at Amazon ?
Juuuust great and my luck... Not only I had to pay 50 euros for the book+shipping, now UPS wants me to pay a 18% tax of 17.80 euros! WTF is this?
So if you are ordering from Spain... seems like it is best to avoid UPS :S (not to mention they had me more than 5 minutes on wait at the phone in a frigging paying number!)
EDIT: Solved, I now got my book. The UPS guys in the office had mixed my stuff with a big 450€ order from a bookstore... in a city 50 Km away! XD
The book is great, with two markers (one red, one blue) and impressive quality. Now I only require some players... or an ego bridge to fork myself! XDDD
