I've recently stumbled across this bit of advertising. Vimeo is such a treasure trove. [url=http://vimeo.com/20626927]The first here has incredible visuals, of course, but I think they provide an amazing look at grounded visions of simulspace or non-obtrusive AR. I also like the idea of a lot of these different AR applications being used "on the go", as it were, by an individual "morph-as-habitat".[/url]

Here is a film trailer that has some nice imagery for EP with heavy combat synthmorphs: http://www.archetype-movie.com/ Shows that when you try to make AGIs for cheap using neural scans you might get extra material you will later regret (Adventure idea: a sleazy hypercorp has been making various AIs this way, and now some of them are waking up - the corp is desperate to hush things up, and the PCs vehicle AI might suddenly decide it wants to find its family... and it knows enough about the activities of the PC to do some simple blackmail). The setup with the debriefing also reminded me of the the webcomic Artifice (somewhat NSFW, as the URL might hint) which might have some overlapping themes. Will people never learn that it is smarter to make AIs full citizens and incentivize them rather than treat them as tools? ;-)
