Re: Speed and Extra Actions
The way my crew resolves this in Vampire, with the Celerity Discipline is this -no action phase, roll the initiative -first action: All the character do their action in turn, as normal -second action: the characters with more than one action can do their action in their initiative step. Those who don't can't act other than defend (opposed rolls or defence score, depending on the game). -third action: same as second, for those who got more than two and so on Trust me, the combats are going in a much dynamic fashion that way, and can be quite epic.

I'll just skip ahead.
Yes. You are all right. Speed is so good it's almost mandatory. As is; Fast Learner. (Everyone in my group except one player uses it.) Full auto. (Every gun can use it, there is NO penalty for recoil. Thus every sniper uses full auto.) Hacking as infomorph. (Seriously. 3 speed. Free. The only morph that is always freely available gives a 200% increase in hacking efficiency. I don't see anyone complaining about this which strikes me as wierd since hacking is far more dangerous than guns in EP. And it's free. One could actually argue that infomorph is the best morph of all for several reasons. Free.) Medichines. (You increase your survivability by insane amounts.) Backup insurance. (Fuck speed. You're immortal.) Medium smart vacsuit. (So much free perk's, armor rating and no strain on resources ever. AND it can look anyway you want it to.) Eelware. (If you don't agree, you haven't used it in your game. Sure, it's "non lethal" in the hands of npc security forces. It's the most lethal thing I've ever seen in the hands of a player. I kid you not. They're worse than the baboons.) I'll stop there, without even getting into skills, because I think and hope I've made my point. You will always find things that can be exploited. And speed will always be defeated by ingenuity. Speed only means you lose more ammo per round.

Re: Speed and Extra Actions
Your Game, Your Rules and all that, but it says nothing in RAW that extra Speed decreases the amount of time a Task Action (hacking) takes, hence being in an Infomorph shouldn't necessarily make hacking faster. The drawback of Full Auto, meanwhile, is that deliciously joyful sound *click*.

Also that BF is the better damage dealer when against someone who isn't optimising armour. FA is only better against high armour enemies, even with the errata changes. It isn't even more accurate. (Also Snipers don't have FA anymore.)
