Hello, I was just wondering: Do implant aptitude bonuses apply to the morph bonus or the base? It makes sense Morph, but unlike morph bonuses the implant isn't limited by the morph aptitude maximum. So to me it seems like it needs a category on its own, but what do the rules say about it (or how do you play it)?

Re: Implant Aptitude Bonuses
That tells me about the max which I already understand. I am trying to understand where the implant bonuses go though, base or morph, because I am trying to also figure out how it will effect the skills. It makes sense as a morph thing since they are part of the morph and go away if it does, but it could offset skills if it is put there on the skills list. So where would it go? Base or Morph?

Re: Implant Aptitude Bonuses
It would technically go under "other bonus". Base aptitude is the actual score your ego has, while morph bonus is the values listed under advantages or disadvantages in the morph's stat block. Implants count external to those.
But to save time and stress, you can probably just stick it under morph bonus. Just remember that the actual morph bonuses cannot bring you past your morph's aptitude maximum, while your implants can (up to 40; aptitudes never exceed 40).

Re: Implant Aptitude Bonuses
So then for skills it is counted separate than the 80 point base max during character creation?

Re: Implant Aptitude Bonuses
Yes it is; the only thing that is counted for the max of any skill is your base aptitude values... the value of your aptitude excluding your morph entirely. If you have a 20 INT, a +5 from your morph and a +10 from your implants, you only have 20 for purposes of skill purchasing (both during creation and during play... you don't count morph or implants when determining the cost to raise a skill).
