Expanding Seekers (new gear)
Monolith High Standard SR-1 This is a Seeker Rifle upgrade developed by a Titanian microcorp called Martel Arms. On the software side, multiple rifles can now be coordinated (with timed fire from different locations, all warheads hitting at the same time for increased effect). On the Hardware side it comes equipped with a Portable Radar Sensor in the underbarrel position. In combination with the also built in Imaging Scope this is intended to counter stealthed opponents. The availability of specialized and new ammunition is another much appreciated feature. First there is a dumb survival/hunting round, just a ferromagnetic cage filled with pellets or whatever is at hand. Fired at subsonic speeds it is quiet and does not splatter the prey beyond cooking. Secondly Martel Arms introduces loitering/area denial ammunition. A seeker is fired above a target area, where it deploys a small chute. The seeker contains a micro-lidar and will independently fire a second stage flechette projectile if the programmed target profile is matched. With a small surcharge a light installation displaying the words “Wrong End” are installed at the muzzle. They can be turned on and off via smartlink and are hoped to appeal to the collector market. [Trivial] Game stats: The Rifle itself has a cost of [High]. All standard seekers are compatible. No additional equipment can be added, yet. Coordinated fire needs a “lead rifle” and wireless communication. All participants aim and send their “ready” signal. The “lead rifle” pulls the trigger and the software contacts and fires each participant. A timer window is displayed via smartlinks. Critical failure means that warheads explode each other prematurely or other fun chaos. Normal success adds a d10 DV for each participant (and/or increases radius by 5m). Critical success adds full DV or effect per seeker fired. Both Survival (quarter seeker ranges for subsonic speed) and Area Denial are only available as Minimissile. The AD loitering time depends on atmosphere and weather (gamemaster or 4 Action Turns); AD range is like the medium kinetic pistol with a Kinetics skill of 50. TYPE AP DV AVERAGE vs. ARMOR Cost Survival - 1d10+3 8 Kinetic [Low] per 10 Area Denial -2 2d10+2 13 Kinetic [High] per 10 Hope this is useful, we had fun with it.

Re: Expanding Seekers (new gear)
Regarding the first part, I wouldn't even require additional equipment. I don't see any reason a smart programmer couldn't network a bunch of seeker smartlinks to accept orders from one 'lead' (or from any other one). The only limitation then being the speed of fire and making sure it's pointed the other way. I'd probably use the rules for burst or autofire, although that may be downplaying the carnage just a tad. The Area Denial, am I to understand that it's basically launching a floating .32 pistol, which will pop off shots? That's not a bad idea, and the parachute is a cheap solution for most environments. The only issue is it will function differently in depending on gravity.

Re: Expanding Seekers (new gear)
"We, the gentlebeings at Martel Arms, were just the first to implement something other smart programmers could indeed have come up with. Being first on the market is still a notable advantage. Please also refer to our disclaimers in Section 4, Paragraph 1. Thank you for taking the time to fill in our questionaire! We are happy to try and install any feature our customers might appreciate." Gravity is of course another factor. As to the Area Denial we thought it might be to powerfull with multiple shots (also it feels wrong in size for a seeker missile). This might be more fitting for a disposable/standard size launcher though. If you can't afford, or can't carry a drone, this is it: Martel Arms "Shadow" (SuperHawk Area Denial Offense Warhead) Cost [Moderate] TYPE AP DV AVERAGE vs. ARMOR Ammo Cost Shadow -2 2d10+4 15 Kinetic 6rounds [Low] per 2 Ranges: 0–10 11–30 31–50 51–70 -relevant AI skills at 50 -lidar and thermo sensors To quote the AGI which developed the package: "The launcher has these grip pads, so, like, you can leave it behind sticking to a wall and remotely launch. I like grip pads." Again please refer to our disclaimers.

Re: Expanding Seekers (new gear)
I like the new seekers. Here are mine: In my campaign, I allow 'High Capacity' or colloquially 'heavy' seekers. These greatly reduce the fuel space, while increasing the warhead size, so that range is reduced by a factor of 10, while warhead effect is that of 1 size up. So a heavy micromissile acts as a mini-missile warhead, but has a max range of 200m, and similarly a heavy mini-missile acts as a standard missile warhead, only out to 300m. More boom, when you don't need the range. DX
