Pandora Gate range?
Inspired by the neat "death star" entry (thanks btw for all the neat little tidbits there). Is there a rough guess, or established knowledge as to how far the network of Pandora Gates extend? To stars within the Orion Arm? A larger part of the galaxy? the galaxy? further? Also, is there indication from any of the alien ruins or from the limited contact with the Factors that other races have developed wormhole-based travel? Or does it appear to be something unique to TITAN technology?

The limits aren't known, but so far it's extended out past the Orion Arm into a larger part of the galaxy, but not beyond the Milky Way. The Factors actually condemn use of the gates ... so far, there's been no sign of other alien civs using them.

Condemn use of the gates eh?
Condemn use of the gates eh? Mmmm, that's interesting (wonder if the gates could be a "wild card" element then). On that note is their evidence that the Factors (or from the remains of other civs) have some manner of FTL travel? Or does the evidence so far suggest that everone else is using one or another means of STL travel?

It's not known either way if the Factors have FTL, though it is certainly a possibility.

Interesting... so it's only one or so Pandora Gates that drop one off to the doorstep of a Factor colony then? Sounds like the Factors may have had (if but briefly) contact with the TITANS, is that about right?

This is a point the Factors

This is a point the Factors are mum on.
